I know I have placed Lyle at both runner-up positions, that is because I went by the pictures not the contestant, if I had gone by contestant would have been 2nd runner-up with his #2 B&W which I found a little too sharp. Winner: #2 a B&W, a little more contrast in this one which I like and I really think this picture lends itself to a B&W treatment. Some of the B&W I found too sharp, I started to not use the Bicubic sharper setting for interpolation when exporting B&W's a while ago as I found that to make the pictures too sharp.ġst runner-up: #1 in colour, nice fix of the "blob" could not even tell it had been there and the colours match my perception. In B&W it seems to disappear better so of the 5 pictures going to the finals, 3 was B&W. The "blob" that Lyle asked about got really distracting when I knew it was there and the picture got processed, so I did give minus points for not fixing that. Thank you all for participating and doing a good one of these days you will forget to say it is out of contest and you will get the win! Nice treatment! Well, 6 participants and 1 non-contestant, not too bad.
